We all know take it we are obliged to fast in theholy month of Ramadan as it has also been obliged to those who before us all.

As the word of God in Sura Al-Baqarah verse 183 meaning as follows:
“O faithful people! Fasting is obligatory upon you guys as has been obligatory upon those before you, that ye may be a pious man “(QS. Al-Baqara: 183).
Sample Text Speech Welcoming The Holy Month Of Ramadan
The text gives a sense to us that the obligation of fasting in Ramadan was not just to us, but since the elect before we or the people of Prophet Muhammad.
As for the background of fasting it is printing a human to be godly to God how not fasting, it can know is just God and himself.
In addition to fast it left things that previously allowed such as eating, drinking, have intercourse with my wife and so on that they if not fasting are allowed, but when fasting then is Haraam and invalidates the fast.
